Seriously, this thing blows me away. It's SO easy. If you have teenage daughters or sons who are a little dumb dumb they would be able to use this no problem. Red clamp has positive engraved on it and black has negative. It's small and easy to take with you. Has a flashlight function on it as well. Ive had it for over 3 years, started 3 cars with it, and it still has 42% power left. As soon as I clamp up to my car it's ready. Awesome awesome awesome. So cool.

Excellent product. Always works as needed, even without a full charge. Just connect it and it does the rest for you. Except turn the key. Best jump starter ive ever had. Going on three years now, no issues.

This works great for jumping a car or charging electronics. It also has a light that might come in handy sometime. It's neat and compact and easy to use. It came 77% charged, if you're wondering.

I originally bought this in case my car ever stalled and not for its charging features. But during a 3-day power outage while I was home alone, this thing became a total lifesaver. The whole house was pitch black, and my phone was my entertainment, getting hold of family and a useful flashlight. This kept it from dying. It takes a while to charge and drains a little faster than I’d hoped, but when it mattered most, it came through. You never know when you’ll need it. Worth every penny.

This had a decent charge time for a car battery. Our car had sat for about 1 month. And it started up after about 10.minute sof charging. The USB ports are easy to access. This is a great deal for your money. I plan to buy these as gifts. Definitely a life saver. These are nice for safety. You can charge your own battery instead of having to ask a stranger. As a women who travels mostly alone.

It works great. I'm am auto/ diesel mechanic and I can jump multiple vehicles right after one another. It has no problems at all and the USB charging port makes it convenient for charging anywhere.

Is an excellent product. Unlike other similar products, it did not come with a case to put it on. The case is sold separately. You figured they would include the case but they didn't.

Finally had to use this today. My lithium battery was completely dead. When I connected it to the battery it was still at 100% since I had it sitting since October 2024. I used the 'force start' mode and my car cranked right up. 10 out of 10 for holding it's charge for these many months and for ease of use and convenience.

I let my second car sit for 2 weeks without starting. I couldn’t get it started with my main car and a friend told me about this. So, I gave it a try since it was on sale. It was easy for me to follow and use. Car started right away after clearing the error message. I could not be happier. I gave it to my daughter so she could keep it in her car.

Such a handy tool! This thing will ACTUALLY jumpstart your car. Even if the battery is dead dead. I have used it to jump a car 5 or 6 times on a single charge, and there was plenty capacity remainiing. I have one in my car and in my wife's car for peace of mind.

It's not the least expensive option, but it works so well that I can't justify buying anything else., Worth the extra cost? Yes!

This is an additional unit to put in the other car. I have used the other unit several times and has worked perfectly. The only issue was I misread the description and thought that the fast charger came with the jump box. Not a big deal since I have another unit with the fast charger. Otherwise I could just use the usb cable to charge.

Awesome. Totally space friendly and charge duration to handle wholly inconvenient car/truck battery failures. Need to consult instructions to avoid overlooking detail in use. This product is a game changer. Every wife or daughter or other loved-ones not engaged in auto-clue-fulness should be supplied with this product and use demonstration.

Amazing jump starter for the price, it starts up a dead battery instantly, and has great battery life itself. Depending how dead the battery is dictates how much of the jump starter battery is drained. Very compact to keep under your car seat for emergencies. Better to have it and not need it, than needing it and not having it kind of product.

Quick emergency start when needed, I bought this for all the cars the used car dealers bring to me for work. Seems like every other car always has a dead battery in it, I charged it fully when I got it even though it had a 70% charge in it and haven't charged it since been a couple of months now and no problems whatsoever. If a battery is completely dead all you do is hold 2 buttons down and it will tell you ready then start the vehicle, I've had to do that about 5 times now with completely dead batteries and no problem at all still has 65% charge. It's portable and very well designed for the money another tool for the shop hope this helps anyone interested in buying one, it's a great product and you won't be disappointed

I have had one of these for about 2 years now. It’s one of the most useful things I own. I have used it on my SxS and multiple vehicles a bunch of times and it’s only down to 35% charge. If it ever goes out I will definitely buy it again.

Literally the best jump pack ever! My husband is a mechanic and uses this at least once a week, sometimes multiple times in a row. It’s going on 4 years already and still going strong! The only downside is if you try to repeatedly start something it has a cool down period where it can’t be used for a few minutes.

I recently purchased the Hulkman to start my Corolla at times when I neglect to drive it more than for a few short trips for a few weeks and my battery gets too low. The product arrived just three days after I ordered it, but I was anxious to try it out right away since I hadn't been able to drive anywhere after my battery failed 4 days previous. I found the instructions a little vague in places, but after reading through twice, I felt confident I could safely get going. I plugged in the supplied usb cable and the display lit up and showed 78%. It took 20 minutes before changing to 79%, so I prepared for a long wait, but it only took 3 hours to get to 100%. I gathered my things, and the Hulkman and headed for my car. In the parking lot, I asked a neighbor to hang out for a few minutes, as suggested in the instructions. The jumper cables are so ridiculously short, it took a bit of hassle to get the battery close enough to make a connection. The battery didn't have polarity labels anywhere in view, but another curious neighbor who passed by helped me make the right connection. Soon as I secured the clamps, the display came alive flashed "ready". I jumped into my car, turned the key, and the motor sprung to life! I threw my hands up and cheered. This was an empowering moment! Somewhere, a AAA road service mechanic had an easier day, thanks to no call for help from me! I went to disconnect the cables and noticed the Hulkman had already turned itself off. Yes, despite struggling to understand instruction details and short cable challenge, the actual charging of the Hulkman, the jump start, and turning the unit off, were all as easy as connecting the right cable and the Hulkman did all the rest automatically. To top it off, the box it came in has a neat design for storing the cables and the battery. I decided to top off the Hulkman to be sure it was ready next time I neglect my Corolla. The display showed my single jump only reduced its capacity 1%. I am, obviously, very happy, and have good hope this little friend will be there to help for quite a while.

I purchased this model for my wife’s car in 2023 and have been very happy with it. Great product, that works very well. I decided I should get one for my car, so I order the same unit.

I just received it and open the box to find that they no longer include the wall adapter to charge the unit. I would have given this product a 5 star review before today, but now the product is not usable in my opinion. I will be returning this and finding a different brand for my vehicle.

Update: I emailed customer service and they sent me the wall adapter free of charge. Not only is the product great, the customer service is as well!

Purchased this because my truck has a "ghost" battery drain that I'm trying to track down. Every morning my battery was dead. Bought new battery and same problem. Finally purchased this because I was tired of the hassle of lining up my other car and using the jumper cables. This solved that issue. Now I just hook this up and it fires right up. It really does take only 2 minutes start to finish. I can do it anywhere and don't need another car to help me or my jumper cables anymore. It lasts a long time and is easy to recharge. I've had it for months and had to use it at least 50-60 times and I've recharded it only once (overnight). 5 stars all the way!!!!

Pros:

Very well designed and packaged jump starter! I received this Alpha 85 product a few days ago. I turned it on and found that it was at 76% charge as received. The digital display is large and can display a number of critical details. I did not order the separate speed charger, but instead wanted to test the USB C charging capability. I plugged the USB into a 2 amp outlet, and started the charging from 76%. I did not check it continuously, but came back after 3 hours and it was 100% charged. If the charging is anywhere near linear, it would therefore take about 12 hours to recharge a heavily discharged unit. Not bad at all. The separate rapid charger would be good for someone (or business) that needed to do multiple jump starts daily - but that is not me.

Everything that came with this is very solid and well built. I would urge anyone considering purchase to go to the Hulkman website and read about the company and products. Quite impressive. After purchasing, you can go on to their website and get an additional 1 year warranty by registering. That is a total of THREE years warranty.

Aesthetics do count in this world, and Hulkman excels in this regard. The product packaging is stellar and very attractive - as is the actual battery pack. Their website is also exceptional and detailed. I plan on using the box to store the battery pack and accessories in my car, as it is very sturdy and has foam protection.
The user manual is in multiple languages, well written and the grammar and spelling excellent (unlike a lot of imported products!)

This thing is awesome! I was having trouble in the winter with my car battery not having enough juice to start my car if I let it sit for more than 5 days. So I bought one of those $45 lead-acid battery jump starters that also has a built-in air compressor. Let's compare that jump starter's performance to the Hulkman's. First of all, the $45 jump starter is the size of 2 big lunch boxes and weighs over 10lbs. After charging up the $45 jump starter for a few hours, I could get maybe 5 jumps of a weak battery out of it before it would need to be recharged. Then, if I left it unplugged in my house for a week, it wouldn't have enough juice left to get a single jump out of it. So I started leaving it plugged in all the time to ensure that if I ever needed it, it would be charged and ready to use. If I needed to use the $45 jump starter in the morning before going to work, when I got to work, I would take it inside and plug it in to make sure that when I left later that day I'd have enough juice to jump start my car if necessary. This whole arrangement was not convenient to say the least. Then, I read about these new lithium ion battery jump starters like the Hulkman. I decided to pay the bucks to get one and try it, and it was worth it. The Hulkman is about the size of box of legal envelopes, and weighs less than 4lbs. In December, I charged up the Hulkman in less than an hour (it came partially charged). At that time, my battery was completely dead, so a single jump depleted about 10% of my juice as indicated by the charge indicator on the Hulkman which read 90%. The car cut off once after the 1st jump, so I had to do it again. I estimate the Hulkman could jump start a completely dead battery like mine (small 4 cylinder Japanese car) maybe 6 times before running out of juice. Using it regularly over the next 3 or 4 weeks to jump a weak, not completely dead battery, barely any juice would be depleted for each jump. The display told me I still had 98% charge after the first jump. I had no fear that I wouldn't have enough juice when I needed it. Then, I fully charged it to 100% and left it in my car outside in my driveway throughout the whole winter from January to May before using it again. I live in Hampton Roads, Virginia, so the winters aren't severe, but we did have plenty of sub-freezing days during that period. After all that time, it was still at 100% charge. I used it to jump a very weak battery - not completely dead, but very depleted - and it said I had 90% charge left. That's after sitting OUTSIDE ALL WINTER LONG FOR MONTHS!!! I had to jump it again because, as usual, the car cut off after the 1st jump. Now I had 84% juice. When I got to work, I took it inside, and it recharged to 100% in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES while I was talking to my boss and a coworker about how awesome it is. Moral of the Story: For God's sake, just pay the extra bucks an get yourself a jump starter that is reliable, convenient, and that will give you peace-of-mind. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on the $45 piece of junk.
