I’ve had this igloo a few months. It’s survived bitter cold, snow and here in Oklahoma yesterday, we had strong winds with up to 70 mph gusts all day. When I shot the video, winds had finally calmed down to 30 mph. This igloo is a beast! Use the sand bags and strap it down!!

Attached to a deck it gets 15-20
degrees warmer than outside. Withstands a few inches of snow ok. The wind - up to 40 mph - and the bubble didn't even shudder.

Setup was easier than expected, the tent just needs to be unfolded and tied down. Stands up to wind surprisingly well. Retains heat, especially in the sun, and has two doors and two vents for air flow. The sidewalls are easily punctured, so be careful with the corners of furniture and tables. Great size for my space to utilize during the winter.

The quality is great, it popped right up, and it definitely blocked the chill outside. Well dress it up a bit so our kids can chill while we do some much needed tree work on our property. Definitely wish i could have many more! The price seems to be worth it, I havent got the test of time yet but ill update this review once it has been tested !

So this was amazing! We had 9 guests come and do a hot chocolate bar inside. They all commented how warm it was even through it was 37 out. This is a great buy! Super happy with it.

This is the second Alvantor bubble tent we have bought. We set it up under our pergola in the fall and keep it up through the winter for outdoor space.

using for backyard office and reading room. 10x10 is more like 8x8, thank goodness - otherwise would not fit on yard's top terrace. some. hot days coming so unsurehow that will be - but under normal circumstances it's a charmer. very easy to put up - watch that spring when it opens - it can knock you over!

We purchased the 10' x 10' tent to be able to keep and use our camping hottub outside during the winter. It almost works TOO well at keeping the heat in! There are air vents that you use and you can roll up the sides as well. The tent is the perfect size, and can be used for a variety of setups. The clear sides allow you to see the stars at night and hang bistro lights. Setup is easy, and it has held up through rain and cold nights with no problem. Would highly recommend this tent to anyone!

After looking at porch enclosure options for fall/winter/early spring we selected the Alvantor 15x15 pop-up pod. It was a fractio. Of the cost to install windows or roll down clear vinyl screens. Easy to set up and so far seems well made. We used this for our screened in porch to protect from cold winds and rain in the fall/winter and allow us to enjoy the outdoors while still being protected from the elements. A small space heater keeps the pop up comfortable and allows off season enjoyment while also protecting the outdoor furniture.

Quality, durable, clean, well packaged. Easy to install (2 people, 10 minutes). Be careful when you unclick the strap and it explodes open cause it will *knock you out* lol, but it's to be expected with how you condense it into the travel case. There was no plastic odor, and the wrinkles smoothed out within a day or so. I got solar twinkle lights and it's adorable and cozy and so warm even on chilly lakeside fall days. Can't wait for winter and being able to enjoy the lake from the bubble! Get it, it's so worth it. My neighbors love it as well

I bought this bubble tent to use for parties and events! It’s so super cute!!! I can make it look fun for the kids’ birthday parties or elegant for a date night. It’s easy to set up, but it is not easy to fold back up. I haven’t managed to fit it back in its bag but it lays flat when folded so I haven’t minded.

Very sturdy design. Mine was outdoors set up when a giant storm came through. It sank to the bottom of a pool yet it was unharmed when we managed to retrieve it the next day.

I bought this a year ago and enjoyed it Soo much, then took it down for the winter but left it folded and propped against my fence. A couple of days ago I decided to see if it was still in one piece and it was so we set it up on my deck and put our AC unit in just like last year and it was absolutely dreamy with my lights. I hadn't had a chance to anchor it down yet and a crazy storm came through last night and blew it all over the place. I was so sure that it was destroyed, but my beautiful bubble is still intact and I'll be putting it back up today!

Great product and perfect fit for our 5-7 person Coleman inflatable hot tub! We use it in the winter to help the hot tub keep the temp maintained, live in Cleveland so crazy low temps at times, and not use so muh energy and keeps the excess snow in winter from burying the tub. We use it in spring to help reduce the tree droppings until all the leaves open up and to not be rained or snowed out of using it whenever we want! Highly recommend!! It pops up in seconds, is easy to store in the summer when not needed. No issues whatsoever yet and have had it for a year and a half!

Decided to get an inflatable, hot tub to make the Michigan winter a bit more bearable, and didn’t want to freeze getting inside of it, hence, the bubble purchase. I put this thing up in early January in West Michigan (and we generally get tons of lake affect snow), and to say I am satisfied is an understatement. Pop-up tents are literally the easiest thing to set up!

I was worried about the thing ripping in the cold weather— definitely hasn’t happened, despite plenty of extreme temperatures and ice forming on the outside. Very easy to clear snow off (I use a broom or rake). One time it even caved in because of a heavy amount of melting snow on top of it (it looked kind of hilarious), and as soon as I cleared the issue off the top, it popped right back up in the place like nothing ever happened. I can’t imagine Michigan Summers being any more hard on it than the winter has been, but I will update review if any big changes.

**Update: it's now March 03, 2023 and the tent has been up for a little over a month ( of course after the return window closed) and the tent has a big rip on the side of it. We checked our cameras and it seemed to just rip during the night with the wind 🤷‍♀️. Trying to reach customer service as there is suppose to be some sort of warranty on this, is a joke! Good luck with it! Was great while it lasted. ***
So far so good but it's not even a month yet so we shall see. Make sure you open the windows when in side so you don't suffocate to death. You would think they would put that as a warning ⚠️ on the box or something as we DIDN'T realize that at first until we all got light head from lack of oxygen and then was like duh open the windows!

The tent nearly sets itself up. When you unstrap the compact circle it comes in, stand back as it pops up. It requires a bit of doing to pull out the sides to make it perfectly round and it does not come with a bottom, so we added a tarp for a floor. Nice hooks for hanging lights and, being from Minnesota, we set it up on a day above freezing but then enjoyed our happy hour outside as a fun adventure. If it hadn't been cloudy, it would have been great for star-gazing. It came down quickly and easily too and stores all in one narrow bag. Looking forward to using it to extend our outdoor seasons.

My sister is a bird watcher and LOVES sitting out on her back porch watching the birds at her many feeders. She’s always sad when fall comes and it gets too cold to stay out. This year I got her this bubble Tent as a gift and she was able to stay snug and warm well into December! I got the 6x6 and it was big enough for her lounge chair stretched out and a side table!

One problem was quickly handled by their wonderful customer service. I couldn’t be happier!

Setup was quick. We took a video of it that will hopefully help when we take it down. If the sun is out, it warms up nicely without using the heater. When it was in the 30s outside, it was 75 degrees without heat inside! I recommend you buy the pole. We put it in when we knew we had snow coming, and it definitely saved it from collapsing. We also bought the tarp and the rain fly that's available. We tucked the tarp inside and placed insulated door draft blockers around the edges, which kept the rain from coming in. Everyone loves it so far, even the dog will want to go out just to sit in it!

I had an issue with the first tent I ordered but customer service was great and helped me resolve it. If I’m being honest, this tent is one of my favorite things I own. Living in Washington with all the rain it has been so amazing at allowing us to still be outside for eating dinner, reading, dinner parties, etc. I wish it didn’t need a rain cover or that the rain cover was clear because when it’s raining it looks so pretty inside that it’s a shame to lose even a little of the view. At first I thought I couldn’t fold it back into a circle but I did it once with help and now I find it easy. I look forward to camping on the beach with it this summer and I can’t wait to get the bigger one eventually for even more space during parties.

Have a wonderful deck on top of my downtown condominium in downtown Chicago. Frustrated that it was only a one season deck until I bought this product. I was able to easily attach this to my decking using small pieces of rope tied around the planks of my deck and connected to the eyelets at the bottom of this wonderful tent using carabiner hooks. I hang 10 pounds of sand in each of the six corners and occasionally use the upper tiedown ropes on a windy day. I have sat out in my tent in strong winds and even rain storms without any issue. Tonight it was 45° and with my small propane heater set on low I was able to have the temperature 75 within five minutes. I have used it when the temperatures are in the teens with my heater set at medium with the same results. Extremely sturdy with good ventilation with the upper windows open I am able to easily enjoy a cigar without any problems in air quality. I purchased the tarp that is cut to the correct size so that the flooring remains clean and dry and I am considering in adding a piece of carpet cut to fit to make it even more comfy. Super easy to put up and take down taking me less than 15 minutes for both. That time includes bringing in my chairs, my heater, my radio and my dogs bed. Highly recommended.

Last year we purchased a 10' Alvantor and loved it but this year we decided to upgrade to a 15' and are so glad we did. This is an outdoor "living room". We had an issue and the customer service handled it. This is an absolute game changer for those of us who are stuck inside during the colder months. We learned a few things during the first year with our 10 footer. We knew that our Alvantor would stay up during Winter and would be exposed to wicked winds, heavy snow and pushed around by wind. We purchased the telescoping pole and then I ordered a large snerf ball from Amazon and used it as a buffer at the top...works like a charm. We purchased 4 x 8 sheets of plywood and designed a modular floor with 2 x 2 wood for stability. It fits like a puzzle and is designed so that in late Spring when we take the Alvantor down we can disassemble the modular floor and place all the parts in our cellar till next Fall when we do it all over again. We used a single heater in the 10 footer but found that we needed a second one to get the kind of heat where we could sit outside in even the coldest temps. Our two cats have become "Bubble Boys"....they stand at the door crying to go out in the bubble and can sleep in it for hours. This is an amazing product and the folks at customer service have always answered any email questions within24 hours....excellent customer service

I’m not saying everyone’s experience will be the same and I’m not recommending you try this. This is an example of unintended extreme abuse.

Bought this 10x10 bubble tent 4 months ago. Attached it to my deck and it was perfect! Light. Sturdy. Hi quality materials. I was extremely happy with the purchase. Last week I was away from home when a snowstorm came through. We got 12” of snow. I had read all the instructions and the part about cleaning the snow off to avoid collapse. That’s hard to do if you’re not there when it snows. I knew it was going to be destroyed and it was my fault. When I did get home I took the first picture of the total collapse. There must’ve been 50-75lbs of snow on it. I carefully scooped the snow off and lifted slightly and it popped right back up. NO DAMAGE! Nothing broken. No holes. Nothing wrong. I took the second picture. I was very happy before. Now I’m amazed!

We purchased this 12x12 bubble 2 years ago ..to be able to enjoy the outside during inclement weather..Had amazing gatherings with using the bubble during fall and all the holidays..
Every time we have had an issue or concern..during the period of our ownership..
The Customer Service Team has always responded very promptly and professionally.
They are always going above and beyond our expectations..
In this day and age.. good customer service is very scarce..
Alvantor is second to none with their product and service..That is why we are giving them a 5 Star rating..

Just received support flex poles 4 total..just need one.. because I broke it taking the bubble down..
I asked Customer Service where I could purchase these ... in their response they showed different poles to replace the one I broke..
To my amazement they sent me 4 flex poles and a center support pole for our bubble ...

Got this thinking it could be a good outdoor space when we were all sheltering at home at the start of COVID. It was! Very nice. Updated:
Holes in plastic were caused by a pest. Can’t really blame this company for that. However, I guess a tip for buyers would be to store it somewhere a pest can’t chew into it. We had ours outside under a tarp. Boo. Read the following with this in mind:
14 months after my purchase, there are 2 large holes in the plastic walls. Not sure if it melted in the summer or what, they just appeared (now I know it was a pest). Now it’s useless and the return window has closed. Love the concept, but for the price, it should have lasted longer — in my opinion. Now I can’t think of what to do with it, can’t conscionably donate it in this condition. Trash it?

UPDATE: Alvantor’s customer service was excellent and they replaced the entire tent! We’ll see how the zippers hold up this winter. I’m going to be extra careful to make sure they last.

The PROS:
This tent was good for warming up during a Covid winter and extending the amount of time we could be outside. I live in Minnesota, so it was really put to the weather test. Snow on the roof was not a problem. It only partially collapsed once after a particularly heavy snow, and was easily pushed back up. It consistently stayed about 20 degrees warmer in the tent than outside air temperature. We ran a space heater out to it and that really helped during the coldest days of the year.

The CONS:
The plastic smell was really strong and took about 6 months to dissipate. We used all the stakes and sand bags to weight it down, which was fine during the winter while the ground was frozen, but as soon as the first big storm came after the ground thawed, the tent blew away and was damaged. After that I used concrete blocks to weight it down from the inside and it has been fine even in some big storms. The biggest issue is that the seams have split around all the doors making it difficult to get in and out despite being extremely careful. I really like the design and function of the tent, but that is a huge issue.

So far so good. We received it about a week ago and wanted to wait until it stopped raining to set up. Set up was easy for us cause I was familiar with this type of tent. My daughters little princess tent is similar in shape with those kind of panels. The part that took the longest was putting the poles in the top. It's kind of awkward and tight but that's how it gets the dome look. We were extremely careful when setting this part up because you don't want anything scratching the top. We were able to enjoy it for the night, but had to take it down the next day due to more rain and it said winds were gonna be strong (25mph) We're glad we did cause about an hour after taking it down, it started hailing. Taking down wasn't difficult and only took about 10 min with me and my husband doing it. We're waiting on our patio furniture, tarp and lights to be delivered so I'll update pictures and ease of setting up for a second time. We live by a lake so I'm excited to be able to spend time outside at night, and be able to see the stars without getting bit up my mosquitoes and being bothered with bugs.

I've read a lot of mixed reviews about customer service so I'm hoping that they do stand by their product and are helpful if I happen to have any issues in the future. It does come with a 1 year warranty so that's good also. I believe if properly taken care of, it should last.

We wanted use our inflatable hot tub in the early spring and late fall. This bubble tent helps protect the motor from freezing and provides protection from wind when in the hot tub. So far we have not been in the tent during the rain. We did purchase the optional rain fly for the top. We added the sun panels, but more to provide a little privacy from the neighbors! We used the extra long tie downs, and the tent has made it through a few wind storms. It snowed about an inch and a half of heavy snow, and we used a soft long handled brush to carefully pull the snow off. We have the 4 person 77 inch PureSpa hot tub. The 10'x10' tent gives just enough space to squeeze around the tub to get the top on and off and out the door. The 12'x12' would probably be a better more spacious option, but this is working for us, and it really doesn't matter once you are in the hot tub. We like it!

Such a great purchase! We live in Indiana and bought an inflatable hot tub on a whim but many reviews say it does not work well in temperature below 40 degrees. So we bought this tent to keep in the heat and keep hot tub working! It’s awesome! Temperatures haven’t been above freezing for almost 2 weeks and we are out there almost every night. Sometimes we use a propane heater inside for added warmth. Only caution is opening up! It has a warning but unfortunately I was not careful enough. When it snaps open- it is VERY forceful so be careful! I almost ended up with a concussion! LOL! Enjoy! Can’t wait to take on a cold rainy tailgate next football season- praying things are open!

We purchased this for cold weather in Chicago to extend our patio season. So far we have used it twice and loved it.
Pros:
Easy to assemble. Since we have the largest size, it does take two people to assemble it. However the first time we did it, I timed it and it took us about 10 minutes
It’s very roomy! We were able to fit our sectional, a fire pit table and 3 lounge chairs and didn’t feel cramped.
It does require weights even in light wind. We used the provided bags and filled them with sand. That seemed to provide the sturdiness we needed. Also we anchored it quite well to the ground.
The cons: ventilation seems to be a bit of an issue. Since we used it in 20F weather, we kept the door flaps closed and used only the top flaps for ventilation. However when done that way, all heat escapes very quickly. Instead we switched to using the door flap at the bottom to make an opening for air. This created a greenhouse effect which had the top of the bubble very hot and the bottom cooled down. Since last use we bought a small fan to keep in the bubble - we hope that will circulate the air and we won’t have this issue.
Taking it down was not difficult. Took us about 15 minutes - including taking out all the bags, etc.

One small note: we struggled the first time to put the ceiling rods in correctly. The secret is to bend them sideways otherwise you run the risk of rupturing the fabric or the plastic.

We got this so that we could spend time outdoors even if it was raining or cold. It is noticeably warmer inside in the winter, especially if you have a portable space heater inside. It won't be a sauna, but it is comfortable with just a fleece. Tested in 32 F not windy conditions so far. We can't speak to its durability as we have only had it a few days, but we're pleased so far.

It is possible to assemble/disassemble alone, but it's much easier with 2 people. The poles at the top were very difficult to get in, and I was afraid that I would break the poles or puncture the roof, but we were able set them up with a combination of strength and finesse.

Love the concept....however, it collapsed on the very first storm!
I live in New England and it only snowed an inch.
It was too heavy and collapsed.
I spent $800.00 after shipping and am disappointed that the crossbars are so cheaply made
Need sturdier metal like poles and maybe that would work.
It tore in 5 places at the seam where the poles are inserted.
On the positive side...I have my summer furniture inside with a small fireplace and 3 heaters, which keeps it really warm.
Love the concept, but needs a new roof design.

So far so good! Super easy to set up! Even more fun to decorate! Beware when taking it out of the box and undoing the strap this thing pops open with an intense pressure!! Stand back! We added our own lights to make it cozy! When the doors are zipped up and the space heater is on it's so warm that you don't even need a coat! It does have a tendency to get condensation so it's nice that there are vents on top. We've been leaving the doors unzipped if we aren't in there to prevent that. Seems very sturdy. the sand bags that they provide, you have to go get your own sand. seem to help hold it down. We had 40 mph winds the other day and I left to doors unzipped so that the wind would go thru the tent instead of hitting it head on. Not sure if made a difference but it help up well. We've been using this almost everynight since we set it up a couple of weeks ago. My son is home from college so he can have friends over in the igloo without having to come in our house so that's been great!

Because of COVID our kids have been remote learning since March. I purchased this tent as another way for our family to get outside and out of the house during the cold winter months. It was very easy to assemble and there were no issues with quality right out of the box. We purchased an electric heater for cloudy days and evenings, but when the sun is shining, it heats right up. Today the temp was 32 degrees, but with the sun shining, it was warm enough for my kids to comfortably do remote learning inside the “bubble” for over 3 hours. This was a fun change of pace for them! We also love hanging out in the bubble at night when it is all lit up with white lights that we hung. We have it tethered to our patio furniture and also have sandbags to hold it down, so we are hoping it will last all winter!

Updated - oh man. Neat!! We've put it up and down 5 times now. Getting way better at it. And its been awesome for Santa.

Wow. We took the tent to a park to try setting it up. Pretty amazing to tell the truth. Took us about 15 minutes. Pretty sure we will get faster as the season runs on. Its big. Roomy. Warm. Simple to put up and pretty simple to take down. This is the 15x15. I'd say 2 people easy. 1? We shall see. Maybe. If you're spry and know what you're doing. Maybe. -- I am going to guess at... maybe 7 to 8 minutes with 2 people who are practiced for setup.

Over all im really pleased. Heavy zippers. Nice strong frame that is also really flexy. Taking it down was easier than I figured. Again... Really pleased. We will update this as the Santa season runs. I can hardly wait to set in there waving as cars drive by and Ho ho'ing when good kids stop by.

tem is perfect! Ive been tracking this item since March but didn't buy until August. I live in NYC & outdoor space is limited, with the way things are now I wanted an option to spend time outdoors without freezing or getting a ticket (tents are a no no) this is the perfect solution since its clear! So excited to use it more once cold. Takes some practice to set up but was able to open and close it at the park and then in my apt to adjust (I don't advise doing it in small spaces). I'm sure with practice I'll get the hang of it. Ideally the 10x10 would have worked for me weight wise at 18lbs, (It weighs 30lbs so be mindful of that when transporting it) but I really wanted a larger space so the 12x 12 is perfect for social distancing with 1 or 2 people and some extra amenities, chairs tables etc. Definitely considering doing a movie night once the sun sets with a mini projector and a screen. I have a small inverter so will consider getting a small space heater to help warm things up (not too hot, this is plastic after all)

One back draw is that I can't fold it back to the size it came in. I kept the box to compare and no matter how I try I can't get it that small again (which means I have to take it off the cart to get it through my doors, but that's a ME problem since I have narrow hallways...and i can roll it so it won't be too much of a hassle) since it was the perfect size to get through my doors before I opened it. It fits perfectly into the bag in it's bigger diameter, I just want the radius to be about 4 inches smaller.

We are SO excited about the Alvantor Bubble Tent! It is serving as an outdoor classroom for me as I tutor students during the pandemic. I store all my supplies in and use it for protection on yucky weather days! Due to the HUGE zippered openings that are conveniently located across from one another- it allows for great air flow and easy ventilation which are so helpful during Covid times. The 15 x 15 is large enough for social distancing!!!!

My only complaint is that the zipper on one of the doors separated from the plastic during our first week of using it. Unfortunately the separation is about a foot and a half which means rain and snow can leak in:( I am SO sad and am going to contact Alvantor directly about a replacement.

Another amazing use for this Bubble Tent is that it can save your flowers from an early frost!!! It served as a greenhouse and kept our flowers alive and blooming through the our first early snow!
Seriously this is an INCREDIBLE product to have during these crazy times! You could even use it to keep your grandparents safe at family gatherings! Unlimited uses!!!!! I love it!!

Been searching for over a year to find a gazebo-esque solution that would adequately block the powerful San Francisco wind so we can use our deck more often. This thing is perfect. We've had it out for 3 months now and it has withstood 40+mph winds- insane.

There are some minor flaws. But I give this thing 5 stars because 1. there's literally nothing else on the market (not anywhere close to this price point at least) and 2. their support is gangbusters.

The clear vinyl separated from the zipper, and within 24 hours of emailing their support, they were sending me a brand new bubble for free. And I got the 12 footer, so that's like $400+ without even having to send the original back. Truly great customer service.

Other things to be aware of: this thing isn't 100% waterproof. In particular, the corners on the top where the panels come together will leak water during rainfall- not a ton but enough to get your bottom damp if you sit down on a chair under it.

Considering the strong winds we see in SF, I also swapped out the guylines for 500+lb strength nylon rope to ensure they wouldn't rip (the ones they come with are kinda dinky).

I've attached some photos of how we've set up our bubble. Even have an aerial pic I took w/ a drone. Very nice to bring the projector out into this thing for a movie night w/ a view- the built in hanger clips on the inside make it super easy to hang projector screens, tapestries, etc.

I'm pretty sure this is my first amazon review I've ever done- wasn't paid to do this, etc. This bubble is just that dope. Highly recommend!

First I'm going to say I was skeptical that this was too good to be true, however, I do NOT regret this purchase at all.
Setup/teardown: tested set up and tear down by myself without any problems! It is easier with two, though. I wasn't able to ever get it back in the carry bag quite right though.
Use: AMAZING!!! It stayed so warm in there that we had to take off our jackets and sit in tshirts, and it was 40 outside. It's great watching games through the clear plastic, or through the open zippered door is wonderful. Even if we leave the kids to play inside and we are outside, it's nice to know the little ones won't wander off and they're protected.
Suggestions: Have a tarp to lay on the ground if it's damp or cold, or to keep blankets clean. Think of a plan for shade because it gets hot and bright on a sunny day. Get better tent stakes as these bent first time we used them and weren't long enough.
Finally, if you've read this far, buy it. I LOVE this and actually don't dread going to the outside games anymore!!

In Wisconsin it was 32 degrees today. With the sun shinning on it, is was 65 degrees inside without a heater on. It takes 5 min to get up to a very comfortable 70 degrees inside. Our granddaughter is going to love this, sitting out in the sun with us and it will also be nice for the girls and I to have our weekly Starbuck’s and my husband and I have to breakfast/lunch out there in the day. Should be a nice winter with this in Wisconsin. We are so happy, we usually go to Florida a lot in the winter, but being first time grandparents this year, we are home all winter. With this I won’t miss Florida much this year. So very happy.
